L’Oiseau by Vitra is a ceramic figurine, designed by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec. LOiseau enriches modern furnishings by adding charm without the cuteness or even tackiness so commonly associated with animal figures.

The ceramic bird is elaborately made by hand and then varnished in sober colors.
LOiseau (meaning the bird) is also available as a wood figure out of milled and sanded maple.
