Sandstone sculpture

The sculpture by Kristina Dam is composed of four graceful Block sculpture by Kristina Dam is composed of four graceful sandstone slabs. It can be placed on a chest of drawers, on a shelf, in a windowsill or directly on the floor. Each side shows the sculpture from a different perspective and delights every day anew.

Made of sandstone

For centuries sandstone has been used for mosaics, monuments and sculptures. It is therefore obvious that Kristian Dam chose the material for her sculpture as well. Particularly striking is the single red slab of the art object. Like the other slabs, it is also made of sandstone, but it contains more iron oxides, which give it a red appearance.

The Block sculpture is delivered unassembled. The four sandstone parts only have to be pushed together.
