The Kurinuki technique is different from all the well-known techniques that are considered for potters. The object is formed from a large solid block step by step, using different tools. The different facets of the material can be optimized and emphasized, as desired. Since this is a complex process and laborious handwork, each specimen is unique and thus receives a special value.
